The ancestor of this trend in my wardrobe are the blue Balenciaga shoes, my beloved Triple S model.
It all started with them.
They look good with the brown leather jacket and the oversized jeans from Mannea or with the Missbehave clothes. And, as always, with my beloved Bottega purse, which I carry almost every day (it’s so versatile!), testing its durability at the same time. So far it passes the test unscathed – well, what else would you expect from a Bottega bag?
By the way, it is worth to find out where the name and idea for this shoe model came from.
The 'S’ in Triple S stands for sole. In other words, this shoe has three of them. Moulds were taken from a running shoe, a basketball shoe and track shoe, which were then stacked to create the 6.5cm platform that gives the Triple S both its unique look and its name.
The shoes on which all the glory can be put – (or all the blame, depending on which side we look at it) for changing the sport trend into the exaggerated one. The triple soles have been on sale since 2017.
For me, who adopts new trends relatively easily, it took 3 years to convince myself of them.
And now I can’t imagine going back to the classic shoe sizes.
I wonder for how long…
