-The fashion for wellies has also affected Gucci – their offer includes glowing rubber clogs in three pastel shades: yellow, blue and pink.
The model refers to the 1990s and maybe that is why it stole my heart. The fact is that Gucci has opted for pastels this summer season  and this collection did not hit me but you know – it doesn’t have to 🙂
Nevertheless, the clogs are great. They are beautiful, yet durable and comfortable. What more could you want in summer when your legs are swollen?
For the clogs I chose the glasses straight from Las Vegas Parano, also by Gucci. Petard! Unfortunately, in this type of glasses the eye with make up is a must. Eyes with no make up do not look best behind the transparent lenses.

So if you are looking for a convenient “no make up” covering option, I recommend another model.
 And to make it even more crazy I matched the glasses with “Paris Texas” cowboy boots. As the name suggests, the shoes are between chic, elegance, and … Texas. Exactly.
The fashion for cowboy boots is a separate topic. I’ll be happy to describe it some other time and to tell you more about the Paris Texas brand because it’s really worth it. In the meantime, please judge which style looks better:

 An interesting fact:  from my observations a few designers have invested in yellow this season. I wonder why. Perhaps the lack of yellow among the Pantone colours of the SS 2020 season put the designers off?
