Christian Loubutin needs no introduction to a real fashionista. The famous red sole is a synonymous of quality, chic and dizziness everywhere in the world.
For many years it was not my cup of tea though.
A shoe, no matter how beautiful and desirable it is, it must be comfortable to be approved by me.
Vanity is vanity, sacrifice is sacrifice, but come on!
I wore the Loubutin’s classic heels regularly, always with the same result. To say they weren’t comfortable is an euphemism – I couldn’t walk a few meters without a pathetically unhappy expression on my face reflecting how my feet felt.
And suddenly – salvation. Merciful Christian decided to introduce the shoes on an 8-cenitimeter post heel, giving me hope that maybe this time I would be able to join the honourable group of his customers.
Success! I’ve been wearing them for the second season and they are one of my favourite pair of high heels.
The heel made of transparent-red polyester is durable and bravely endures all my journeys.
And when the second pair of the same model but of a different colour, was to be fixed, the cobbler refused to accept the money, saying it was an honour to hold the Loubutin’s shoes in his hands.
