Black & White?

I rarely buy two exactly the same bags of the same colour. In case of the legendary Pearly Bee Shoulder Bag from 2017, it was … the same – I bought one without paying much attention to my husband’s discreet protests.

To my surprise half a year later I got the same bag for my birthday. It was black this time.

In case of the light one – unfortunately it was touched by the time – you can see the signs of use. The black one is doing much better, even though I used both of them equally passionately.
The purse belongs to the category  of “small” bags and does not fit too much. You have to choose whether you care more about the phone or the purse. It has a pocket so it is best to put a card or a few banknotes there.

Interestingly, the handbags, although very close to kitsch, fit brilliantly with all Gucci shoes that I have in my collection. And only to them. I don’t mix them with other brands because somehow such matching is not my cup of tea.

The exception are the Fendi boots used for today’s styling. Together with the classic Gucci dress, they create a polite but classy set, good for everything – both for work and for the queen’s wedding.

Which colour of the handbag do you like more? Black or white?

PS. My husband predicted that the pearls would fall off after a month. They did not. The decorations are placed in a permanent manner, as you can see in the photos – everything has survived in perfect condition.
