Rubber Shoes in High Fashion

-I love fashion for its unpredictability. If someone had told us a few years ago that we would be walking in high-heeled wellies, hardly anyone would have believed it. And there we go!

– Nicholas Ghesquiere – The Art Director of Louis Vuitton has created high-heeled wellies that make me want it to rain! Beautiful coral shade (perhaps the Pantone of The Year 2019 colour, Living Coral was the inspiration here)

Perfectly contoured, comfortable to walk and beautiful in look

-Using the same material, LV introduced the Sunbath Flat Mules flip-flops, combining the glowing rubber with a  classic Canva’s Monogram. The product is as beautiful as it is comfortable, and … durable.

These types of flip-flops – e.g. kubota, famous for several seasons – in my case work out quickly; meanwhile, the LV flip-flops, which I regularly carry with me for the wakeboard training, covering them with sand and water – are still like the new ones

I decided to test how the above-mentioned shoes work in slightly more elegant styles. I paired them with a holiday suit from Chaos Marta Boliglova – and voila! I am ready both for a wedding in the sand (I can even be a bridesmaid!) as well as a fishing trip, where I want to put a fashion chic 😀   Being serious  – I wear high-heeled wellies with pleasure on colder summer days and of course I count down the time until the autumn when they will get their second seasonal life
